Today is Yom HaShoah. It's a public day of remembrance in Israel that serves as a reminder of the millions of people who needlessly died during the Holocaust. On this day, people will light yellow candles to remember the victims. It serves as a reminder that hatred and racism should be stamped out wherever it rises.

We have some budding journalists at Calvin Coolidge Elementary! In a newspaper club overseen by teacher Ms. Bogart, our fourth grade students have been working hard on a monthly student newsletter. They’ve been spending their lunchtime writing stories, conducting interviews, taking pictures - the works! Awesome job kids. We look forward to the April edition of The Patriot Shine Press! #BPatriotProud
